Hello! I’m a UX Consultant / Product Designer with over 20 years of versatile work experience.
In a nutshell
I apply the thinking and craft of user-centric design
to help you minimise risk and deliver a successful digital product or service.
I provide both UX consulting and design execution
going from research, analysis and strategy to information architecture, interaction design, prototyping and UX writing.
Benefit from my experience
having devised strategies and solutions for many clients of various sizes and industries.
What I can do for you
01
I investigate and evaluate the status quo
to identify key areas of risk and opportunity.
I will
map as-is user journeys across channels
analyze existing data & insights
conduct interviews, surveys and user tests
so we can
discover customer needs and problems
identify hurdles of the current solution(s)
prioritize measures by effort & impact
make sure we build the right thing
02
I create maps, structures and guardrails
to provide the bird’s eye view of the envisioned experience.
I will
model user journeys, flows and site maps
create design guidelines and modular template systems
specify content and functional requirements
so we can
arrange information and processes in a user-friendly way
have a shared user-centric picture of the future system
develop consistent, coherent and efficient solutions together
03
I design interfaces and interactions, and validate them
to facilitate the best possible experience in every detail.
I will
create wireframes, text and screen designs
build prototypes and test them with users
iterate and optimize
so we can
make our solution tangible early
ensure users will find it simple, persuasive and satisfying
implement quickly and flexibly

About me
Before going freelance in 2014, I have worked over 10 years as a conceptual UX designer in digital agencies, with 5 years in design leadership roles (see my CV).
I love grasping and simplifying complex issues, thinking across disciplines, and learning something new with every new assignment.
As you can see in the picture above, I’m fun to work with, but my handwriting is atrocious.
I live and work in Berlin. When I'm not questioning, structuring and designing, you can find me kayaking on the Mecklenburg lakes or making some acceptable German indie synth pop.
